When Georgia OKeeffe painted gray-haired pitcher Forms in 1936, she was already at the height of a biography that brought her both popular and critical acclaim. In 1929, she spent the summer in Taos, New Mexico and was overwhelmed by the unique visual feel the landscapes provided. She affectionately referred to the land of northern New Mexico as the faraway... a place of stark beauty and infinite space. Her sources of imagery lie in the world of nature, tho nature interpreted with prominent freedom. Georgia found the thin, dry air enabled her to see f art lasther. Her art expressed these personal emotions and perceptions in a completely person style that combines both strength and crystalline clarity. In Grey Hill Forms, OKeeffe utilizes traditional ideas of bring down and space in line with innovative non-objective elements.
        Like many other early American modernists, OKeeffe was fueled by post-impressionistic goals. She had completed by 1915 that all of her lean was influenced by some unmatched else. Although she had earlier won awards for her still liveness work, Georgia was dissatisfied with casual reality as heart-to-heart matter and was determined to paint her personal rural experience. I realized that I had a lot of things in my head that others didnt have, she said. I do up my mind to put down what was in my head. She was one of the first artists to explore the possibilities of non-objectivity, and thus was one of the considerable contributors to tedious modernism.

I enjoyed your essay. I telephone it was very informative and I learned something about a person I had never even heard of preceding to reading your essay. I would however, would have liked to see or be given the name(s) of some examples of her work to look at and make your paper flow more than easily by giving some proof of/for your arguments.
The essay was not to garish but her paintings werent the best in my point of veiw i would of went more on her man in the sky painting theres more to talk about and learn from it.
its alrite, i think it would be better if you gave an example one of her works, and describe it. Tell how the work exemplifies her style. Just explaining her style didnt really give me a good understanding of it.
