Groups and Teams.

A groupinging is a collection of two or more flock who work with one another on a regular basis to light upon common goals (Schermerhorn, Hunt, & Osborn, 2005, p. 262). A homogeneous group will perform better in the root. They are a group of people similar in diversity. This can suffering the group in the end due to the lack of diversity. A heterogeneous group will prove to be the stronger aggroup due to the cultural diversity within the group. The group with people of different ages, cultures, genders, and experiences.

A team is a small group of people with complementary skills who work actively in concert to achieve a common purpose for which they hold themselves collectively accountable (Schermerhorn, Hunt, & Osborn, 2005, p. 262). A homogeneous group will crack as a team quickly due to the similarities everybody has in the group. Heterogeneous groups usually take a little sentence before they release a strong high acting team. Their differences will get in the way in the beginning until they figure out the best way to perform.

The groups in my organization are full of diversity. One group usually consists of a superintendent, quality supervisor, production supervisor, process technician, and a quality technician. The age, dramatic art of work, and experience is all different. The groups lack one major thing, teamwork.



well-nigh employees in my organization feel like he or she is being attacked if someone else has a better idea than the other. This decreases the keep down of teamwork and productivity within the group.

A group can never become a team without communication. Regardless of everybodys differences, people should work together and communicate all their knowledge with the group.
