After reviewing, A Job to Die For by Lisa Cullen it opened my mind up to umpteen different aspects that never crossed my mind before. Every nonpareil comes from different backgrounds, ethnicities, and homes, alone many people sh be the same professions. When thinking just about chancy jobs, working in an office never sparked macrocosm dangerous to me. After reading this book it changed my mind entirely.
From the outset page with the exemplifications about Sues allegory it makes me think. I start to think about the dangers I encounter day-by-day on my job. The obstacles and duties I need to achieve and overcome are at many times strenuous. I never at once though that a job as simple as sitting in an office, would be hazardous to someones feel.
For example, in the opening of the book Cullen gives an eye opening story that drastically changed my view for office employees. Sue, a normal employee at a therapy office had her neck broken by alone being helpful to a patient. Sues disembodied spirit will never be the same after that one day on the job. Her neck broke simply because she helped a patient with MS get up from a table.
This is an example of a life-changing event that took place in a healthcare office. Who would think someone would get hurt and never be able to function properly again because she was helping a patient?
