11T Amendment Info

The eleventh constitutional amendment was passed by congress on defect 4, 1794. This amendment was made to protect states from paying money to people hard to exploit the loopholes in the law. Without this amendment people from other countries and states would be qualified to sue the United States or states that they arent citizens of. In the good example Chisholm v. tabun Alexander Chisholm sued the state of Georgia for money owed to Robert Farquhar for supplies delivered to Georgia during the civil war. Mr. Chisholm was charged with the execution of Robert Farquhars estate. If we didnt curb this amendment Virginia could be sued from manyone in Oregon, or the United States could be sued by a citizen of a different country and we would be paying money to some foreign national for some trivial issue which would probably be taken to the autonomous Court.
When someone tries to sue a state they usually compliments money or justice because they feel they have been wronged by someone or something in the government.
