As I continued talking to my chum friend, he told me all about coming to the U.S. At first, he had to take an airplane Comalapa, El Salvador to Mexico city, Mexico. Then from Mexico city to Tijuana and stayed for two days. But as he was travelling in Mexico, he had to pay offers to let him continue.
Then on the second day, of staying in Tijuana himself and other people at night time had to span the border to San Diego, California. But his most memorable, was that as he was walk on the field, officers were riding slash the fields with horses.
So he had heard the horses gallops so all the people migrating with him had to lay on the ground, and it was pitch black so no one could expect anything. He successfully make it to California, he went to the airport in San Diego to go to L.A. They split into three groups, but my dad was in the last group and they didnt make it successfully. He was caught by the F.B.I. and specify into jail for eleven days. Until his uncle who lived in NJ, pay a $2,500 fine.

As we look around today in the U.S., we see more and more foreign people transmigrate to live in the U.S. Why? I sat down to interview a close friend of mine and consecrate why he chose to come here to live in the U.S. and not in his home country, El Salvador.
On November 22,1985, Ive made my decision to leave my country and go to the U.S. to earn a better job and have a more freely life He said. I wasnt scared to give up everything I had to start new. But, the experience of travelling wasnt scary until I had to cross the border from Tijuana, Mexico to the border of California, San Diego.
