The moment I entered the Wiltern in Los Angeles, CA, I lost my breath. I was there to collar Velvet Revolver. Velvet Revolver is a good dance orchestra, not one of my favorites, but approximately of the members from Guns n Roses were in it, and Guns n Roses is my favorite band of in all time. mosh, the lead guitarist , Duff Mckagen, the bass player, and matte Sorum, one of the drummers, were in both bands. This was my chance to see some of, what I considered, the greatest medicamentians all on one stage. The lights dimmed, the medical specialty started, and the band played. Seeing Velvet Revolver in plan was an invigorating experience that made my heart race.
The band straight started with one of the songs on their new album. My eyes were glued to Slash, the centering he moves his fingers is fascinating, playing looks like it comes so easy to him. The way of life was filled with people, it was so tight and crammed you could barely breathe. Sweat was move all over me, some of it my own and some of it was from some other people, but I was so involved in the music I didnt even realize the sweaty greasy men rough me, so close there sweat rubbed up on me.
After that song finished, I was more than ecstatic when Slash started the fast, rock n roll riff for “Mr. Brownstone”, a Guns n Roses song. I couldnt believe what they were playing. Scott Weiland, the lead singer, gave a very Axl Rose-like performance, he bam the high wailing notes and the deep low notes at the rightfulness times. Scott even did the famous Axl strut. At that moment I tangle I had time warped to 1987 at a Guns n Roses concert watching the original line up play. My eyes were drowning in water, and I had realized I had been crying. There I was stand up in the same room watching some of the musicians that I had listened to since seventh grade. For a second I had forgotten it was all real.
