Until King Tut s tomb was discovered in 1922, his pretend was only known from scattered writings on the walls of the temples, still since the tomb s discovery, the world now knows of King Tut s treasures and even his curse. So, it is said that he may have been murdered by an official, or someone else of great importance. When opened, people were surprised by the fact that his tomb was almost in perfect condition. Commonly, Pharoah s tombs were robbed of their riches before they were even discovered. The fact that his tomb was about untouched made this discovery especially important. King Tuts tomb was discovered in 1922 by two men, Howard Carter and Lord Carnarvon.

Carnarvon was a rich man who owned the right to dig in the valley of the kings. Carter mentioned to Carnarvon that he had read Tuts name on the jewel walls of numerous temples, and so he commissioned the search for Tut s tomb for five years. After spending years meddling for it, Carter discovered a set of stairs that obviously conduct to his tomb. Once inside, they went through a series of fake retinue and hidden doors until finally reaching the main chamber.
